General Terms and Conditions of the Aladin Institute

Terms and Conditions Change 01.01.2025
1. Conclusion of contract:
1.1. Aladin Institute events can be booked through their online shop, by email, or by phone. If an event is not booked through the online shop, participants will receive an invoice via email. The invoice indicates the transfer of the registration fee.
1.2. The contract is only concluded when the registration fees have been paid in the Aladin Institute's online shop or upon receipt of the registration fees in the case of other payment methods.

2. Withdrawal:
2.1. Registered participants in the Aladin Institute event may withdraw from the contract up to 14 days before the start of the event and are then entitled to a refund of the registration fees, excluding a processing fee of €20.00.
2.2. The Aladin Institute may withdraw from the contract if the minimum number of participants specified in the course dates is not met, or if the instructor or venue is cancelled. Participants will, of course, receive a refund of their registration fees.
2.3. Registered participants in private courses at the Aladin Institute may cancel or reschedule the course free of charge only up to 24 hours before the scheduled start date. In all other cases, such as a last-minute cancellation (a course cancellation is considered last-minute if it is received by the instructor less than 24 hours in advance) or absence, the Aladin Institute will charge a minimum of 60 minutes. The participant must pay this fee.
2.4 Participants of the Aladin Institute who have registered for the language course may withdraw from their contract as follows:
• 30 - 8 days before departure: 30 percent of the registration fee
• 7 – 2 days before departure: 60 percent of the registration fee
• From 24 hours before departure: 90 percent of the registration fee

3. Other contract changes:
3.1. Participants registered for an Aladin Institute event may transfer to another event organized by the Aladin Institute after the start of the event, provided that the registration fees for the new event are at least 70% of the registration fees for the old event.

4. Important information:
4.1 Children and animals are not permitted due to a lack of adequate supervision.
4.2. The event may only be attended by registered participants. Attendance by other persons, even those interested in the Aladin Institute, is permitted only after consultation with the Aladin Institute administration.
4.3. Advertising for third parties, other language schools, and especially Arabic language schools, is strictly prohibited and punishable at Aladin Institute events. This applies not only to participants but also to the instructors. If this rule is not respected, participants are asked to inform the administration as soon as possible.
4.4. Taking photographs, filming, and recording audio during Aladin Institute events is strictly prohibited for copyright reasons. The use of teaching materials not created or prescribed by the Aladin Institute is permitted only after consultation with the administration. If this rule is not observed, participants are asked to inform the administration as soon as possible.
4.5. Courses will be recorded and available to all participants for one week after the last course date. Course recordings will be permanently deleted six days after the last course date.
